Editorial policy
A fact on this site needs a public source and a date. Rules come from farflung.game. Answer pages come from that day’s public file, restated, and only after the date has started.
Evidence and scope
The official how-to-play page is the source for the 60-second timer and 30-second option. Third-party pages are comparison evidence only. We do not invent firsthand play, reader messages, author credentials, popularity statistics or success rates.
What we will say
Country counts, timers, territory rulings, and tier distances are copied from the official rules, rulings, changelog, or the public day file, then rewritten. The check date is on the page. If two official pages disagree, the rulings page wins for a country question and the how-to-play page wins for the timer.
We do not publish the full list of accepted countries. Each prompt gets selected rare and common examples, tier counts, an original hint and an explanation. The hint describes the topic without reproducing the official prompt sentence. Official camp notes are not copied. Decorative artwork is original, not official screenshots.
What we will not say
We do not invent release dates, prices, file sizes, or scores. We do not publish a future expedition. We do not present a third-party unlimited mode as an official Farflung feature. We do not write a review score for the game.
Corrections
Email [email protected] with the page URL and the source. A confirmed factual error is corrected on the page and the updated date moves. The mailbox is the public contact for this site.
